The Relaxed Woman
This past week at the She Recovers Sacred Pause Retreat on Salt Spring Island, I finally glimpsed what it means to be a relaxed woman. I slowed down, lingered over meals, walked without purpose, and let my body truly rest. I realized how deeply I’ve believed rest must be earned—and how untrue that is. Retreat taught me that rest is a homecoming, one I can carry into daily life.
